Q: Can minors stay alone in the room?

Minors must be accompanied by adults to be able to stay in our rooms

Q: Refund policy for the top crater climb

From the day of booking until the day before departure, no cancellation penalty will be applied. For cancellations made on the same day of the excursion, no refund will be granted. In case of cancellation of the excursion before departure due to force majeure or adverse weather conditions, 100% of the fare paid will be reimbursed. In the case the customer decides to abandon the excursion after the departure no refund will be granted.

Q: If I stay in Lipari, can I join Stromboli night climb and return to Lipari the same day?

If you are staying in Lipari and want to join the excursion to the Stromboli craters, the only way is to book a private boat excursion with departure and return to Lipari, as hydrofoil rides are not available in the evening after the climb. Q: Where can I stay in Stromboli?

On our website you can book your room in Stromboli. Our rooms are close from the hydrofoil pier and the marvelous black volcanic sand beaches of Scari and Forgia vecchia. Rooms come with private bathroom, air conditioning, kitchen, wifi, garden and terrace. Book your rooms here

Q: I don't have the hiking equipment, where can I rent it?

Il Vulcano a Piedi offers the rental of trekking shoes, headlamps, backpacks, anoraks, and trekking poles. Before the departure of the excursion, you can rent all the equipment necessary to tackle the climb on the volcano.

Q: Can children join the climb?

Children can join the excursion on the volcano under the responsibility of the parents. In any case the Volcanological Guide for safety reasons reserves the right not to accept too young children.
