Our Alpine and Volcanological Guides, authorised by the Regional College of Sicily, accompany you in discovering the volcano’s trails, with excursions of varying difficulty levels, boat tours around the island and a network of accommodation just steps from the Scari pier.

What sets us apart from other agencies
Four principles we apply to every excursion, from Easter to early November.
AGAI certification
Alpine and Volcanological Guides authorised by the Regional College of Sicily. The AGAI certification is the highest professional standard for guiding on the volcano.
4 native languages
Italian, English, French and German. The volcanological briefing at the viewpoint is delivered in the group’s own language, not in rough translation.
Small Groups
Maximum 20 people per guide. The pace adapts to the group, with regular breaks and the less fit at the front: a rule we have set ourselves out of respect for safety.
Transparency
Published prices, no hidden costs at the meeting point. Helmet, radio transmitter and safety briefing are always included in the rate.
Our alpine and volcanological guides
Three people, three backgrounds, one shared passion for Stromboli. All three guides are members of the Regional College of Alpine and Volcanological Guides of Sicily.
Antonio Famularo
Born on Stromboli, he has known every trail of the volcano since childhood. A member of the College of Alpine and Volcanological Guides of Sicily since 2008, he leads excursions in Italian, English and French. He is the voice that many of our guests recognise when they come back, year after year.

We operate in full compliance with regulations
All our excursions on Stromboli volcano are led by Alpine and Volcanological Guides authorised by the Regional College of Sicily, as required by national legislation (Law 6/89 and subsequent amendments) for guiding in alpine and volcanic environments. Without this authorisation, access to the crater above 290 metres elevation is not permitted.
